It is also linked to the South West Coast Path, which provides dramatic views for you and your dog to take in on a walk.
However finding somewhere to stay which will allow you to bring your furry friend with you is often a less enjoyable experience. To save you the difficulty of it’s no surprise that campers from across the UK clamour to find a pitch in Woolacombe. For that reason, here is our list of recommendations for your search for dog friendly campsites in Woolacombe.
Woolacombe bay Holiday park sites
Woolacombe bay resort company and their selection of holiday parks have a brilliant reputation with dog owners and for good reason. Their campsites allow dogs to stay, and charge a comparatively small fee for it in comparison to many other campsites we have reviewed.
The site itself is also incredibly dog friendly, with lots of places to take them for walks on the site, and easy access to the famous Bay itself. You can easily enjoy stunning views out onto the sea, and then being able to walk directly with your dog down to the beach.
Aside from its suitability for your four legged acquaintances, Woolacombe is a brilliant place to stay for humans! It has activities for everyone to enjoy; such as adrenaline-inducing water slides, interesting adventure trails that you can enjoy on a walk or on a Segway safari or Zorb if you are feeling more daring. They also have a fun climbing wall you can make use of.
For times when you need a break from the action, you can enjoy a film at their cinemas, relax in their well heated indoor pools, luxuriate in their top quality spa facilities or tap into your artistic side by doing some pottery painting at Woolacombe.
North Morte Farm Caravan & Camping Park
North Morte Farm is a lovely camp site if the sound of staying at a full blown resort doesn’t take your fancy. It is a brilliant campsite, with two separate sections, some in fields and then hard standing pitches for areas with electricity supply. The tent pitches without electricity are granted with a full view of the sea from the fields they are situated in.
The site provides well maintained toilets and showers, a well stocked dish washing area which is often a hub for conversation. There is also a shop on site if you are missing any essential items at short notice. The site is well situated, only 10 minutes from the centre of the village where there is a selection of small shops, takeaways and pubs, and a short walk away from Rockham beach with stunning panoramic views of the sea.
The site is very dog friendly. Dogs do have to stay on leads on the site, just to prevent dogs running after children or invading peoples’ tents. There is a designated exercise area for dogs where you can let your dog off the lead and explore.
Hopefully camping at either Woolacombe Bay’s resort or North Morte Farm will provide you with a perfect camping experience for you and your four legged friends.
