If you’re looking for a delicious steakhouse in Vaughan, then make your reservations at The Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse. This upscale steakhouse serves prime cuts of meat directly at your table. Start off by perusing the breads, salads, and sides, and then enjoy your main course of a variety of steaks, seasoned chicken, lamb, and salmon. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’ll also see live Samba dancers during your dinner. More than just dinner, Copacabana is an entire experience. Prices are set for your entire meal but may vary depending on holidays or weekends.
Aragvi
Aragvi is the only restaurant in Ontario serving Georgian food, and they’ve mastered this delicious Eastern-European Cuisine. Although Georgian food typically isn’t well-known, the chef has introduced this fare to the city, and locals have become very fond of it. Don’t be fooled by the strip mall setting. This upscale restaurant offers white linens and superb service. Make sure to try the Khinkali, which are similar to large perogies. For your entree, opt for the Tabaka, a seasoned Cornish Hen. Although it’s an upscale restaurant, prices are still affordable.
The Burger’s Priest
The Burger’s Priest is the place to go if you’re in the mood for a burger and a shake. Although locals have always praised this delicious burger joint, it became famous worldwide when Daniel Radcliffe touted its burgers while in Toronto. The restaurant also has a location in Vaughan. Try the Vatican City burger, a double cheeseburger between two grilled cheese sandwiches. If your hotel is close to the restaurant, you might find yourself heading back there more than once.
Ay Caramba, Eh!
Although Canadian and Mexican food seems like an unlikely pair, this fusion restaurant makes it work. The menu offers a vocabulary list to help those unfamiliar with standard Mexican food terms. Ay Caramba, Eh! offers delicious Mexican food with friendly customer service and affordable prices. Try the Fish Haddock Burrito with chipotle aioli and wash it down with a Mexican Specialty drink.
Avlyn Gardens Ristorante
Although technically the address is Kleinburg, Ontario, Kleinburg is a small village on the outskirts of Vaughan. This Italian restaurant sources most of its ingredients locally except for the ingredients imported directly from Italy. Housed in a Victorian mansion, this upscale restaurant serves regional, authentic Italian dishes. Although there are plenty of options for Italian in Vaughan, Avlyn Gardens is one of the best. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation because the restaurant gets busy especially on the weekend.
If you’re in Vaughan, don’t think you need to go to Toronto to try some of the best restaurants in the area. Vaughan offers all different types of food for every budget. You may need to extend your trip to try all the delicious restaurants in the city.
